OVERVIEW PAGE

Kero is a provider of micro markets to the sports betting industry. We provide a hyper real-time odds and market feed to sportsbook and platform partners, which includes very fast market/odds creation, odds changes, and market state management such as settlement.

An individual Kero market can best be thought of as a representation of some small outcome on the field:
EXAMPLE: What will happen next in the game? {Team A shot} or {Team B shot}

A single event can have anywhere between 3,000 - 7,000 micro markets (depending on sport) and anywhere between 15,000 - 40,000 market messages. Market messages contain information states such as odds, variables, etc., and actions related to an individual market.

We have built a Java SDK that is constantly maintained by us with frequent updates and is used by some of our largest partners. Using it will make the integration process a lot more seamless from an engineering perspective.

  1. Typical whitelisting and authentication steps described in more detail here.

  2. This is done by ensuring that a Kero event can be matched with an event on the partner’s side. This is done by matching event IDs of notable data operators such as Genius, SportRadar, IMG Arena or OPTA. Kero emits such ids for every event and it is the responsibility of the partner to ensure that they are looking for, finding and matching each event. When this step is complete, the remainder of the work is related to market mapping. Please refer to the Event States and Messages Guide for full info.

  3. This is the simplest yet the longest step. Kero has hundreds of unique micro markets for every sport. Each market will contain specific variables that will be sent in Market Messages and need to be mapped on the partner’s side. Kero provides optional translations for each market in a variety of languages to make the process smoother. More detail on market states, and information is described further in this documentation guide. Please refer to the Market States & Messages Guide for full info.

Kero is not a sports data feed.

Therefore, partners should not rely on Kero for anything related to Match states (start times, leagues, countries, live scores, etc.).

The intent of the integration and Kero’s offering is to provide an additional layer of content (micro markets) to events that you, the partner, already have set up and integrated via your sports data feed of choice.
